And they're off!

It was a beautiful morning for the I Run Beacon 5K Run/Walk which kicked off at Memorial Park. The event kicked off a day of Beacon pride as the City celebrated its annual Spirit of Beacon Day.  The proceeds generated from the 5K went towards the I Am Beacon's "Making A Difference" scholarship that will be awarded to a graduating Beacon High School senior.

Friday Night Lights

The leaves are changing colors, the kids are back in school and we have less daylight -- which can only mean one thing -- fall is here.  However to local sports enthusiasts, it also signals the start of high school football.

I am currently in my sixth year of shooting football and this season will be the official videographer for two local teams -- Beacon High School in Dutchess County and Harrison High School in Westchester County.

I will be posting highlights from each game and hope that you will join me in cheering on and supporting these talented athletes.

Phantom of the Opera

Theme weddings and parties are the latest trend in special event party planning. Micayla's Sweet Sixteen party at was no exception.  Micayla chose the Phantom of the Opera as her theme at the Villa Venezia in Middletown, New York.

Upon arrival, her guests were greeted with a playbill and a ticket designating their table assignment.  The reception room was full of exquisite red roses and candelabras.

Micayla entered her party to music from The Phantom and was treated to a special performance of  "Music of the Night" by her grandfather. She and her guests enjoyed an evening full of dancing and great fun.
